CURRENT SERMON SERIES

One author said that “we determine our habits, and then our habits determine our future." For the month of April, we are doing a sermon series called “Holy Habits.” In this series, we will look at 4 simple but powerful spiritual practices that can help you in your faith journey: go to church, read the bible, pray daily, give generously.

Curious what a Sunday at Generations looks like?

Meet sol

Hey Everybody!

My name is Sol and I am the lead pastor of Generations Church. Regardless of how you got here, I’m glad you’re here, and thanks for checking out our website!

Just a little about me: here’s photo of my wife of 12 years (Lizzy) and 4 kids (Israel 9, Georgia 7, Penny 5, Hollis 3). I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. I grew up as a Duck fan and also had the opportunity to graduate from the University of Oregon. I’ve been a college pastor for the last 12 years and I am excited to step into this next chapter of starting a new church in the city of Eugene, my hometown. In my free time, I love to watch college football, go on river trail bike rides, eat sugar cookies, and listen to pop music!

My prayer for Generations Church is that we would become a church where all kinds of people feel welcomed, encouraged, and inspired, and that we would be a blessing to the Eugene community and the U of O campus for many generations to come.

Committed to the Campus

We believe the university campus is a very strategic place for gospel ministry. Every year 5,000+ students move to Eugene from all around the world to learn new skills, meet new people, and set the trajectory for the rest of their life. We want the gospel to be part of that equation.

Committed to the Next Generation

We also believe that the best context for discipleship is a multi-generational church. Therefore, our vision is to be a church family with a special focus on college students: a church family for the next generation.
