The Marriage Experience is for married and engaged couples of all ages and stages and you don’t need to be struggling in your relationship to attend! It’s designed for any couple who wants to strengthen their marriage and grow together.

The weekend will include four practical and interactive sessions led by Steve Jones, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. You’ll have space to learn, reflect, and talk through what you’re learning together as a couple, almost like getting a weekend of marriage counseling in a group setting.

We’d encourage couples to attend together if possible, since the experience is designed to be most helpful when you can process it side by side. But if your spouse can’t make it, you’re still welcome to come! Past participants who attended on their own have found it worthwhile and were able to share notes, takeaways, and conversations with their spouse afterward.

No. You won’t be asked to share personal details about your relationship with the group. Any exercises or discussion prompts are designed for you to work through privately with your spouse or fiancé, giving you space to have honest and meaningful conversations together.

We encourage couples to attend the entire Marriage Experience so you can get the most out of the weekend, as each session builds on the others. But if you have to come late or leave early, come for as much as possible!

The cost is $20 per couple and covers all four sessions, materials, and refreshments. When registering, you’ll sign up both people attending.

Childcare will not be available during the Marriage Experience, so couples will need to make their own childcare arrangements.
